Balboa Middle School will educate all students in a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment. The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) Santa Barbara/Tri-Counties today named Ventura educator Sarah Gluck Perez its 2022 Educator of the Year.
ADL’s local region established the Educator of the Year Award to recognize the work of outstanding educators or programs which further ADL’s mission to “stop the defamation of the Jewish people and to secure justice and fair treatment to all.” The award is sponsored by the Ruth and Herman Hausman Education Endowment Fund, which provides a stipend along with the award.
Ms. Carly Donick, Social Studies Teacher at Cabrillo Middle School, was just named the 2022 National Council for Social Studies Middle Level Teacher of the Year.
