Our Mission

The Balboa Middle School library provides students and staff with a welcoming space to seek out and use information, read, work, teach and learn. We encourage and facilitate curiosity among the Balboa community by offering opportunities to develop new skills and to explore emerging technologies in a safe, clean and engaging environment.

  • Mon-Thurs 8:30 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.
  • Friday 8:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
  • Closed at lunch when our clubs meet
  • Browse our online catalog using Destiny Discover
  • Check your account by logging in with your student ID (501) number and regular password.
  • Under "My Info" you can see any items you have out, including your library history and any library fines.
